For a student project, the assignment was to create a concert poster for an artist of one's choosing. The artist chosen was Hozier, and the event is an actual event promoting his new album Unreal Unearth: Unheard. The designer took the background photo of the grass in their backyard. The photo was changed using Adobe Photoshop's Hue, Saturation, and Patch tools. Adobe Illustrator was used for the type, and flowers were drawn using the pen tool.

The goal during the process of choosing ideas for the concert poster was to incorporate themes from his songs on the album. Some themes are grapes and flowers or whiskey and coffee.
On Hozier's album, it shows teeth biting into a lily with a dirt background and the designer wanted in some way incorporate those lilies onto the poster.
Again, the last few pages of thumbnails are trying different formats to incorporate the themes of the album.
